Daily Announcements

Dear Parents,

Our annual application for the Admission Lottery is currently underway. There is a 60 day minimum day application period which is in accordance with the New York State Charter Law.

Please be reminded that, as per the New York State Charter Law, siblings of current students are given priority for admission, only if the parent notifies the school. As an example, we have 36 Kindergarten seats in each of our schools, but if there are 6 siblings, those 6 seats are reserved for siblings, leaving only 30 seats for the lottery. Siblings of current students who are seeking admission for other grades are put on a wait list before students who are not siblings.

Important dates:
  • Lottery application start date: 12/01/2014
  • Lottery application end date:  03/31/2015
  • Lottery date: 04/13/2015
The actual lottery drawing by computer will be conducted on Monday, April 13, 2015, beginning at 10:00 am.
